Florian lives near Duesseldorf with his wife and his two sons. His professional background lies in the world of ad agencies. Working for global networks as a Creative Director, Florian has created successful international campaigns for 12 years before jumping ship and becoming a film director. The 44-year-old shoots commercials, virals, documentaries and webisodes. His Twitter project "Tiny Tales" was honoured with the Grimme Online Award, one of the most prestigious culture awards in Germany. The subsequent book was published in 2011 and became an instant success, selling tens of thousands of copies. In 2019 Flo turned four of the Tiny Tales into films for his short film project MICRO MOVIES - the world's shortest feature films. The films are in the Official Selection at several major international festivals. Florian is a member of the Art Directors Club of Germany and the German Commercial Film Academy.
