Walter Fasano

Graduated from the DAMS at the University of Bologna and a graduate of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, Walter Fasano has been active in Italy since 1993 as a film editor for directors such as Dario Argento, Luca Guadagnino, Marco Ponti, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Lucio Pellegrini, and Ferzan Özpetek. He has also contributed to the screenplay of some of the films he edited.

In 2013, he co-directed the documentary 'Bertolucci on Bertolucci' with Luca Guadagnino, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival.

In 2018, the film he edited, 'Call Me by Your Name,' directed by Guadagnino, won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, written by James Ivory. Fasano also made a small cameo appearance in the film as the DJ in the famous party scene
