The festival jury is composed of artistic and professional figures in "genre" storytelling for film and serial, international and Italian.

From storytelling to artistic and technical casting, from journalistic style to production and airing, the competition will reward the best interpretations of fantasy and science fiction, thrillers and horror, action and adventure, cine-comics and cross-over shorts in two major categories: International Short Films Competition, consisting of independent productions and film and visual arts authors, and International Graduation Films Competition, consisting of students and graduates from international universities and academic institutions.

3100 short films arrived from all over the world. The jury is working to finalize the selection and declare the winners.
The Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, December 14 at 11 am at Universes Hall.

The fourth edition of Heroes International Film Festival will be held December 13-14, 2023 at Casa del Cinema in Rome and December 15 at IED - Istituto Europeo di Design, Rome.
