Erika De Nicola is an animation director and art director. Born in Salento, she left southern Italy at the age of 18 to pursue her passions and study animation in Florence. As soon as she graduated, she began working in the field as a storyboard artist, a role she held for seven years. After moving to Milan for work, she continued to develop her artistic skills. Today, she is the art director on numerous Italian and international TV series, such as “Strappare lungo i bordi”, ‘Questo mondo non mi renderà cattivo’ and ‘Due Spicci’ by Zerocalcare for Netflix, and music projects such as the mixtape ‘Bloody Vinyl’ and the albums ‘c@ra++ere s?ec!@le’ by thasup and ‘Fake News’ by Pinguini Tattici Nucleari. He has also directed animated music videos for major artists, such as thasup, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and the international star Mika.
