Carmine Guarino is a production designer who began his career in 2005 with a film by Paolo Sorrentino. He worked as an assistant production designer for Sorrentino on The Family Friend (2006) and Il Divo (2008). In 2011, he served as a set decorator for the boxing-themed film Tatanka, directed by Giuseppe Gagliardi, and for Kryptonite! directed by Ivan Cotroneo.
On the international scene, he collaborated with Hungarian director István Dárday as an assistant on the film Az emigráns. Additionally, he worked with Stefano Incerti as a set decorator on Gorbaciof, the story of a cashier at the Poggioreale prison who embezzles funds to fuel his gambling addiction, particularly poker.
