Dario Lanzellotti is an Italian pianist, sound designer and composer.
Lover of post production and true, organic sound. His productions combine classicism and futurism, ranging from orchestral to electronic that never forget the sampling and the choice of sound.
He studied at the conservatory "Luisa D'Annunzio" in Pescara, then moved to Rome, where he graduated in Sound Design at "IED Istituto Europeo di Design - Cinema e New Media" in 2017.
He has composed music for several film directors and TV series and collaborates actively with various partners such as Netflix, RaiCom, Bulgari, Fendi etc.
In 2018 he composed the music for the film "Bangla" by Phaim Bhuiyan presented at IFFR in Rotterdam and winner of several awards (among the most important: David di Donatello, Silver Ribbon, Golden Globe). In 2020 he worked on the sound design of the first opera "La Legge del Terremoto" by Alessandro Preziosi, presented at the Rome Festival.
In 2021 he composes the music and works on the sound of "Up & Down" by Lorenzo Vignolo, winner of the Solinas Prize.
In 2022 he composed the music for the TV series "Bangla La serie" together with Pino Pecorelli, directed by Emanuele Scaringi and Phaim Bhuiyan. In 2024 he composed the music for the TV series "Never Too Late" by Lorenzo Vignolo and Salvatore De Chirico, presented in the section Alice nella Città at the Rome Festival.
