Born in Chiavari (Ge) he made the first short films "Insert Coin" and "Dove" and "Senza Piombo - Unleaded" between 1995 and 1996. At that time he co-founded the Genoese cinematgraphic movement "Zerobudget", from which will be born the first feature film "500!" co-directed with Giovanni Robbiano and Matteo Zingirian.
He directed two other feature films for cinema: the film "All on the Attack" (2005) distributed by Warner Bros and in 2012 the comedy "Workers. Ready for anything", produced by Rai Cinema and Margherita Film, won the first prize at the Annecy festival as best actor (Alessandro Tiberi).
He is the author of about 150 music videos for artists such as Max Gazzè, Max Pezzali, Dargen D'Amico, Subsonica, Litfiba, Bugo, Articolo 31, Baustelle, Meganoidi, Arisa, becoming one of the best-known directors in Italy.
He makes advertising campaigns and brand films for companies such as LG Electronics, Phillip Morris, The Space Cinema and Slow Food.
Per Rai Fiction directs in 2021 "Up&Down", series pilot co-produced by Tea Time FIlm and winner of the Solinas Experimenta Award and in 2024 the dystopian adventure series "Never Too Late", co-produced by Propaganda Italia, in competition at Alice Nella Città.
For ten years he has been coordinator and lecturer of the triennial of Video Design and Filmmaking at IED - Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome.
