Francesco Lettieri was born in Naples in 1985. After making several short films, since2010 he began shooting video clips. He has made more than sixty of them, totaling more than200 million total views. Some of his videos are true cults of theItalian video clips and are winners of more than fifty awards. Several international festivals havehave dedicated retrospectives including the Pesaro Film Festival (2013), the Festival d'Annecy and theMilano Film Festival (2019). Among the artists he has collaborated with are Calcutta, Thegiornalisti, NoyzNarcos, Carl Brave x Franco 126 and Liberato. With the latter, he has codified avery personal imagery related to Naples, innovative and far from stereotypes: a greatsuccess that has attracted the interest of an international audience.
In 2020 Lettieri made his cinema debut with Ultras, a film starring Aniello Arena, producedby Indigo and distributed on the Netflix platform.In 2021 he shot his second feature film Lovely Boy with Andrea Carpenzano,produced by Indigo and distributed by Sky, which was presented at Venice Days at the Venice Film Festival.
