A blizzard catches David (Allen Leech) in the middle of nowhere as he cuts through the American Rockies in a pickup truck after rescuing a waitress from her husband's violence. The cold and blizzard are hellish, but when the most frightening creature the two could have imagined materializes in the night, everything changes again and turns toward a final and unexpected.
