ITALIAN NEW HORROR

Italian New Horror

In recent years, made-in-Italy horror genre productions have been difficult to find only for inattentive seekers. The undergrowth of our independent cinema is, in fact, highly populated by many titles and directors who precisely in horror have found the best way to combine creative freedom and the difficulties of low budget. Precisely by starting from underground cinema, the wave of New Horror made in Italy has managed to reach an increasingly important audience and on several fronts, from home video to platforms and, in some cases, theaters.
Together with Stefano Lodovichi (La Stanza), Alessio Liguori (Shortcut) and Paolo Strippoli (A Classic Horror Story) we will talk about the new way of thinking about Italian horror.
